Electric Conversion Project

The City of Washington has hired contractor IES, to complete the voltage conversion on Feeder Lines #2 and #4.
Work has begun and this project will require some electric outages in the coming weeks.
The affected areas will include:
Both sides of East 9th Street between C Street and B Street, B Street from the south city limits to the north city limits, and along a few alleys between B Street & A Street.
As more information becomes available, staff will post updates and contact and notify affected property owners/occupants as the project progresses.
